WHEN AN ATHLETE BECOMES A WINNER: 4 -. Visualize success

Visualization is an incredible tool to help align the universe and provide you with all the situations and opportunities necessary for you to win. Visualization is more important than most people think

When you visualize vivid enough to create emotion in your vision, your mind does not know the difference between that and the real. A key aspect of this, is to imagine the things that happen long before reaching the goal

WHEN AN ATHLETE BECOMES A WINNER: 3 -. Plan to win.

It is essential to have a plan to reach the peak at exactly the right time for your career type “A”, which goes beyond that great project at work, that surprise family. Take your time and plan your season, find out which races you want to compete well and make a good decision (read point 2.)

WHEN AN ATHLETE BECOMES A WINNER: 2-. Make timely decisions

The winners do not lie around and expect success to come, they usually take steps to move towards that every day. Instead of thinking about whether to go with that strategy or not, a winner will have already planned it and will not have to think about it. He will instinctively know if that decision fits his strategy and if the other athlete he attacks is good enough to win, and will react accordingly without hesitation.

WHEN AN ATHLETE BECOMES A WINNER: 1 -. They set goals.

They are highly targeted. The winners have long and short term goals, weekly and daily. When a winner wants something, he really focuses his will on what he wants. He loves him more than the rest of the other athletes.

Sit in your free time and write your goals for the year, then review them every week … your goals will change throughout the year, review them continuously and that way it will help you stay focused.

WHEN AN ATHLETE BECOMES A WINNER

The winners think different …

There are many books, magazines, and social networks that move millions and sell very well over the winners, we all wonder why they are different, what they think and why they think it. They constantly focus on moving forward, doing things, acting and improving. Whether in the pool, on the football field, in their daily work, they strive to be the best they can be, or to get what they set out to do. They are not afraid of hard work. In fact, they love it, they crave it, they absorb it and they become better with it.

I believe fervently that the winners are made and not born. Each of us has qualities and abilities to win; we just have to prepare the perfect mix at the right time to reach the goal, which is to win.

From my experience working with many types of people in several countries, I can focus on five important attributes that define a winner. These attributes will be developed over the days in this Blog, in Swimlab.
